General Instructions: 1. The post is non-government under the Indian council of agricultural research which will be governed by the New Pension Scheme introduced by the Government of India w.e.f. 1-1-2004 mutatis mutandis and as amended and modified from time to time. 2. At present, the place of posting is ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru. However, the same is liable to be transferred anywhere in India under ICAR system. 3. Candidates already in Government service (Central/State/Autonomous body) should submit their application through proper channel. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. In case a candidate anticipates unavoidable delay in forwarding of his/her application through proper channel, he/she must send an advance copy of the application along with the fee which must reach this office on or before the closing date, which will be considered provisionally. But the original application must reach this office within the closing date. 4. Candidates should give a declaration stating whether he/she is related to any employee of this Institute or the ICAR and if so, the name of the persons & the nature of his/her relationship, is to be described, in the application failing which the application will not be considered and candidature shall be rejected summarily. 5. Application form must accompany with a bank draft (Non-refundable) of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) drawn in favour of “ICAR Unit, NIANP” payable at “Bangalore” as application fee. SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted from the payment of fees. 6. Application fee is to be remitted by way of Demand Draft only. The candidate should on the back of the crossed DD, indicate his/her name, address, name of the post, advertisement number and serial number. It may be noted that no other means of payment of the application fee is acceptable. The application form not accompanied with the application fee (wherever applicable) will be rejected. 7. Application should be submitted strictly in the prescribed proforma, the proforma is given along with the advertisement (neatly typed). If any information furnished by the candidates are found false at any stage his/her candidature will be forfeited 8. ICAR/Institute cannot advise candidates as to their eligibility for any particular post and it is for the candidates themselves to see and judge whether they satisfy the prescribed requirements and whether it is worthwhile to apply. In any case, a fee is nonrefundable. 9. A separate application with separate fee is required for each post. No two applications should be tied together. Applications not in prescribed proforma, incomplete application forms, unsigned applications, application without application fee, applications without item No. and name of the post are liable to be rejected. 10. The envelope containing application should be superscribed as “Application for the post of…………………… ” 11. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection/ test/ appointment. Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification. 16. The Director, ICAR-NIANP, Bengaluru reserves the right either to fill up all the posts or any of them without assigning any reasons thereof. 17.
